CONCEPT - These photographs focus on my daily walk home. They are to re visualise what I observe day by day but in a different light. The remediation's have created a new visualisation.





Lomographic Remediation's

Physical/ Digital

lomographic remediation's is an assignment aimed to re mediate the forgotten, in a new exploratory way. With the use of film we are able to create the materialistic intimacy which is normally lost in digital photographs. This physicality allows remediation to occur on a physical basis.

The work produced within this blog has been published into a book to also push the idea of the physical object, creating interaction with the viewer rather then scrolling down a web page. The contents within this book shows a series of films taken on a basic Holga camera with 100G Kodak colour film which has then been cross processed, rephotographed and then inverted on photo shop.

In no particular order the images show a series of photographed negatives on acetate, the acetate as well as the film itself.

As you can see the images tend to merge into kaleidoscopic photography, this again was to push the concept of using the physical item rather then photo shop.
